SHEFFIELD UNITED 1-1 LEICESTER CITYAnother impre sive Leicester City performance earned a rightful 1-1 draw against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.Leicester dominated the first half and they also had the first real chance, Jack Hobbs hit a shot deep inside the area, however his shot cleared the cro sbar. Two minutes later the Foxes had problems, striker Steve Howard limped off after only Ten minutes and that made wayfor on loan striker Martyn Waghorn.It was still all Leicester as the foxes had two more chances to break the deadlock. Darius Henderson resulting shot deflected off a City player onto the post, then Nick Montgomery followed the rebound up but his shot cleared the bar. Only a minute later the ball was up the other end again, Matty Fryatt with another shot however Mark Bunn tipped it round for a corner kick.Things started to cool down as both teams had moments of valuable po se sion; however it was Sheffield United with the last chance of the half, left back Andy Taylor took a shot but it wasnt troubling Leicester keeper Chris Weale as it cleared the right hand post. Nothing else happened after Taylors chance, as the referee called a stop to the first half with Leicester City and Sheffield United at a goalle s draw.Sheffield United changed things aroundfor the start of the second half; Brian Howard came off as Blades winger Stephen Quinn came on. Sheffield United were geared up as they pushed for the equaliser, and it could of well easily came. Keith Treacy cro sed the ball and it was Darius Henderson who reacted quickest, however his header mi sed the target. Leicester also had a chance in the 56th minute, as Matt Oakley tested Blades keeper Mark Bunn with his shot.The next piece of action was a very important piece in Sheffield Uniteds favour. The board went up about a minute later as the fourth official signalled four minutes of injury time. In that four minutes Sheffield United was pre sing for the all important winner, however cro ses from Kyel Reid and David Cotterill were cleared by City defenders Robbie Neilson and Jack Hobbs. The referee then blew his whistle for the end of the game, as both Leicester City and Sheffield United stay unbeaten this season after an action packed game.MAN OF THE MATCHWayne Brown yet again was instrumental for Leicester. His power at the back was incredible as he kept Darius Henderson at bay. Also he made some vital clearances in the match.
